Properties All Around the Island

Paphos is situated on the southwest of the Island; 90 miles from the capital Nicosia and has the island's second international airport, 9 miles east of the main town.

Paphos is believed to be the birthplace of Aphrodite (Petra Tou Romiou), the Greek goddess of love and is a popular resort destination ideal for families. The city of Paphos is split into two parts, the upper part is both a business and residential area, and the lower part of the town, Kato Paphos, is the tourist area land marked by the Forte and pretty harbour. You will find many tavernas here to sit and relax in the warm sunshine, whilst watching the little fishing boats bobbing up and down in the water. Along the seafront there are many cafés, bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. The promenade is the perfect place for a stroll along the seafront staged with the dramatic setting of the castle perched on the edge of the marina.

Paphos is rich in ancient sites, including the House of Dionysos and the Villa of Theseus, with beautiful mosaic floors, and the Tombs of the Kings. There is a wide variety of activities and facilities to suit all ages whether you are holidaying or living here permanently. Enjoy an active life in the sun on a choice of beaches where you can try all watersports in the warm Mediterranean Sea from diving, jet skiing and the flying fish to parascending, deep-sea fishing and snorkelling. There are a number of municipal beaches along the Paphos shoreline, but Coral Bay Beach, 7 miles north, is considered the most attractive, being sandy and having shallow waters.

Paphos has an established expat community and there are many clubs and societies you can join including dancing classes (from tango to belly dancing!), bridge, tennis, rambling, squash, cycling, running, snooker, rugby and golf to name but a few! There are numerous theatrical productions performed throughout the year. 'Stage One' Theatre located in Emba has shown first class productions, the latest being 'Private Lives' by Noel Coward with forthcoming productions including, 'Educating Rita' and 'My Fair Lady'. There are also many Shakespeare Productions, and operas performed at stunning ancient locations such as the amphitheatre at Kourion Beach and Paphos castle.

Paphos is a perfect destination whether you plan to holiday or become a permanent resident. Every conceivable amenity is at your finger tip from excellent schools, employment and medical facilities to endless beaches, pine forests, secluded coves and breathtaking sunsets...
